Songs for slideshow of friends, suggestions needed?

Hi, I'm creating a photo/video montage of all my friends and I throughout highschool as a graduation gift, I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for songs I could use. I'm looking for some that are kind of unique, but go along wiht the theme of graduating, growing up, friendship....etc. so it doesnt necessarily have to come out and say it and be meant to be a graduation song, but something that gives that type of feel.
