Why doesn't Bloomberg make it illegal to own or have a knife?

We need to live in padded rooms, and wear straight jackets that way we will be safe in our closed up little world of white. Guns, knives, bubblegum, windows, bathtubs, and stairs are all deadly weapons that should be taken off the streets, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and off the walls as the case may be.
