What do I do about this?

My friend Carissa has decided to go on a manhunt for me for a prom date. I don't really like public dances, ya know, with people that I have known since kindergarten. Im really shy and paranoid with strangers (especially guys). Unfortunately, I have never dated, kissed, or had sex (wait until married) and on top of that my father will probably kill the guy that would ask me to dance.
