Should Obama get the credit for Osama's death?

Hey so there was a hot debate in my politics class on Monday that we have continued through out the week and are finishing today. A bunch of my classmates, as well as myself, believe that credit should go to the Navy SEALS and CIA for killing Osama after Obama keeps using words like me, myself, and I in his speeches and statements, regarding the mission. I know he's the currently sitting president so technically he's the commander and chief, but what do you think? Just to keep you informed the general debate is since Bush started the manhunt and the SEALS ended the manhunt that Obama shouldn't get credit. PLEASE be respectful, would be much appreciated.
