How much of tax payers money goes on the interpreting service?

One way to eradicate the costly interpreting service would be to ban people from entering this country if they can't even be bothered to learn english, problem solved, then these scroungers can go and exploit another country which speaks their language. How could they even gain employment if they don't even have a basic grasp of the english language? Yet they will surely know which benefits they are entitled to and get priority housing, when there are still many british homeless on the streets, it's disgusting.
