About the book "5000 quotations for all occasions"?

So I found this book in my basement called "5000 quotations for all occasions", and was wondering if anyone could tell me about it. It's a light gray hardcover book. The title page says "arranged and edited by Lewis C. Henry Doubleday & Company Garden City, New York" and the information page just says "copyright, 1945, by Doubleday & Company, Inc. printed in the United States". Could anybody tell me ANYTHING else about this book?
